Take A Closer Look At The Dominators In "Found Footage" LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Promo

The CW has released a very intriguing new promo for the upcoming DC TV crossover which seemingly reveals that the Dominators first visited Earth during World War II. What does that mean? Check it out...

It's thought that the Dominators will arrive on Earth-1 to take on - or take out - metahumans as they look to create their own, but a new video for Legends of Tomorrow points to them having visited Earth before. Based on what we see below, that was during the second World War, and considering the fact that's when the Justice Society of America was around, perhaps they'll also show up in the crossover!

We'll just have to wait and see, but it will be interesting to see if we get any more teasers like this over the next few days. Do you guys have any theories about what this video might mean? Sound off below.

ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL IN THIS CROSSOVER OF SUPERHEROES — After learning the Dominators’ plan for the world, the Legends must work together with The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin), Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) and Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) to kill them once and for all. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) figures out, with the help of others, how the team can terminate the Dominators, but is distracted by the aberration he realizes he created in 1987. Brandon Routh, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Nick Zano and Caity Lotz also star. Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Phil Klemmer & Marc Guggenheim.

But, can the dominators love? are they strong enough to let their dreams overcome their fears?

This is the CW, nobody cares about invasions and war...

One of those GI's was using a LAWW rocket launcher, a Vietnam era weapon, instead of a Bazooka.

The other weapons like the M-1 rifles, date the footage to before 1957 when the Army adopted the M-14.

People are assuming it's World War 2 era footage but it could just as easily be from the 1950's.

If the footage said property of the US War Department, that would date to events on it to 1947 or before.

Another clue could be the US Army wasn't racially desegregated(by policy) until 1947 and by practice
until about 1952 during the Korean War.

As excited as I am for the crossover, I am more interested in seeing the story from Arrow play out more. Something I'd never thought I'd say again, but this season has been pretty good so far. I want more either vigilante, and maybe find out who the makes dude with Church was.

@TruePunishment - *with Vigilante. For some reason typing on my phone has some weird autocorrects on this site.
