Following the shocking death of Wentworth Miller's Captain Cold in last week's instalment of Legends of Tomorrow, The CW has released a very cool extended trailer for the season finale which sheds some light on how the team intends on getting some revenge against Vandal Savage. With the Time Masters no longer backing him up, Savage is clearly willing to do whatever it takes to emerge victorious here...

After the numerous sacrifices the team has made since the beginning of this ride, Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides that it’s time they each decide their own destiny and returns them to Central City a few months after they first left. Returned to their normal lives, each team member must individually decide if they are willing to sacrifice everything in order to save the world. Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) visits with her father (guest star Paul Blackthorne) who delivers some heartbreaking news about her sister. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Chris Fedak and teleplay by Phil Klemmer & Marc Guggenheim.

First half was ok, second half picked up big time. I wish Savage was a bit more calculating and evil like he was in Young Justice so hopefully they don't kill him off.

@CaptainAmerica - "Eventually everyone sees The Light."

I would give a hand to see Vandal walk into the Light chamber at the end of season 1 and say that when they ask him about the legends.

The CW has the best shows in the whole of television, they deserve juggernaut ratings.

@BE4ST - can u believe that supergirl mediocre premiere cost 3 million dollars and still doesnt look half as good as episodes of LoT which cost less than a million, if u give cw 3 mill to do an episode they might rival a lot of big budget movies

Season 2 should introduce John Stewart as Hawk Girls new boyfriend and make Hawk Girl more brutal brawler than a insecure cry baby.... Hawk Man is not needed if HawkGirl is on the team.

Hawkgirl and Hawkman are two of my favorite comic characters, and their treatment on this show has been horrible or non-existent. Hopefully they do not come back next season.
However, if they do, it will probably be because they will be following the Thanagarian storyline, and in that case, maybe somehow their characters and writing will actually get better? We can only hope.
I hope they somehow bring Vixen into the fold on one of these CW shows. Legends would be fine.
And Jonah Hex. I thought this version of him was pretty good.
It would be great if there was a way to bring in Constantine. Just not sure how he fits in to the whole thing.
