Wentworth Miller has announced via Instagram that he is in the process of shooting his final scenes as Leonard Snart in The CW's DC TV universe.

Miller was first introduced as the villainous Captain Cold on The Flash before joining The Legends of Tomorrow in a more heroic capacity, and the character has remained one of the more popular elements of the small-screen DC-verse ever since.

How Snart will exit is unknown at this time, but one would assume that if Miller really is done playing the character for good that he'll be killed off.

I found out yesterday. Still kinda processing it. I'll have to wait for his actual episodes to see how this happens considering a version of him will appear in the Earth-X crossover.

@TheUnworthyThor - Nah, Cap Cold got too predictable and boring in the flash and legends of tomorrow. I bet that's why he's turning in the freeze gun for good. He wants a fresh challenge.

I don't mind this. His sacrifice made the LoT team a lot stronger and Heatwave a better character for it.

It also opens up possibilities for a different take on the Captain Cold characters.
