As season three begins, the Lannisters hold absolute dominion over King's Landing after repelling Stannis Baratheon's forces. Yet Robb Stark, King in the North, still controls much of the South as well, and has yet to lose a battle. In the Far North, Mance Rayder has united the wildlings into the largest army Westeros has ever seen. Only the Night's Watch stands between him and the Seven Kingdoms, but nobody knows what happened to its Lord Commander and the force he led beyond the Wall. Across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys Targaryen - reunited with her three growing dragons - ventures into Slaver's Bay in search of ships to take her home and allies to conquer it.

The Climb, was only a so-so episode in my book.
Not a whole lot happened, but only served to pique our interest for next weeks installment.
Jamie and Tyrion have both been humbled and are now seemingly, quite tamed and we now sympathize with them.

I Missed my favorite character in last night's episode - Daenerys Targaryen. Looking forward to seeing her trying to add to her army next week. I can only guess that her returning to King's Landing with her dragons and armies will be the season cliffhanger.

Funny, but it would seem my favorite characters are the women. Daenerys, Arya Stark, And Diana Rigg as Lady D'enna Tyrell. She is such a cool old lady.

This was a set-up episode. The birth of Reek, the Red Wedding, Sansa marrying Tyrion and everything that goes with it, "The bear and the maiden fair," and the battle at the wall were all set up in this episode. I'm just not sure how they are going to cover all that in just 4 more episodes.

Oh, and where are they going with the Gendry story arc? Last I remember he joined the Brotherhood and was knighted by Dondarian and then basically vanished from the storyline.

Iwan Rheon killed it in the last episode. Joffrey haters haven't seen anything yet.

I had heard rumors early on, and now it appears true, that Gendry was going to basically take the place of King Roberts other bastard child, Edric Storm, in the television show since the show never developed Edric in the first place.

this episode might have been an okay episode however it covered grounds and paved the way for some huge stuff to happen in the next couple of episodes.
i'm gutted there's only ten episodes a season, thirteen and above would've been awesome.
