I haven't read the books, but I think that little shit Ollie is going to kill Jon Snow. They've really been hammering the point that he's pissed Jon is helping the wildlings after they killed his parents.

Winter is finally here!! Time to go skiing.

@theambassador

I think the should do a prequel movie of Roberts Rebellion. After the show ends. There's a lot of good story there which explains why alot of stuff happened in the series.

I have read the books so not gonna say anything specific but...yeah they're building to something with Ollie by the looks of it.

I hope the Onion Knight protects Shireen.

Here's what should actually happen. Stannis captures Ramsey and sacrifices him instead, since Roose Bolton is kind of King in the North right now.

@Ryguy88

I'll be 100% honest with you: I scoured your list for changes I would make...but your list is [frick]ing solid! A few things:

- I dig that you left Ned Stark off the list. He's a great fighter, but you are right that these 10 are better.
- We haven't seen enough of Jon Connington to know where he would fit here, but I'm curious to see if he would break the top 10 - after we learn more about him. Any thoughts?
- Arthur Dane at #2 was a bold choice! He's the one person I might have moved, but in the end, you're probably right.
- How insane would it be for The Red Viper fight any of the 4 people in front of him?!?!
- The show absolutely did Selmy a disservice in his character. He is #1 hands down, and I just don't understand that call.
- when you have time, can you put together a list of 11-20 and tag me in the message?

Anyways, kick ass list bud. I'm working out each 'vs' in my head for the next few hours at work.

JoeMomma29, no but I do know what happens wit certain other characters and it looks like Ollie has been added for a very specific reason.

"Rhaegar kidnapping Lyanna"

....or did he?
capcyclopsftw

@TheAmbassador - The Mad King did not have dragons. Dragons have been "extinct" for thousands of years.

@Ryguy88 - Jon and Rob are above Bronn and/or Jorah. And Sam's father is the only man to have beaten Robert in battle...He should be on the list.
Lazarusreborn

Best fighters? You left out two people and they are both woman! Sort of...How about Brienne and Loras? Those two beat a few on that list of yours

"If that is the case, they should stop GoT for a year or 2 and instead do a mini series prequel featuring the events leading up to and including Robert's Rebellion."

They're not going to decide to suddenly stop their most popular and most profitable show on the entire network right in its tracks, out of the kindness of their hearts to the readers or to GRRM, just as a favor so he can finish his books.

Though I'd be ALL for a sort of prequel mini-series type of thing. I don't know if they have the rights to do anything else with GRRM's world, but that'd be awesome.
SauronsBANE
SauronsBANE - 6/4/2015, 5:29 PM
@TheAmbassador Yeah, it sucks! I'm only really familiar with the rights issues with Lord of the Rings, where Peter Jackson got the rights to the LotR trilogy and The Hobbit, but nothing else that JRR Tolkien ever wrote about Middle-earth.

I'd assume that it's similar with George RR Martin.
CplHicks
CplHicks - 6/4/2015, 6:13 PM
@TheAmbassador@SauronsBane That is the case. I remember a Martin interview where he was asked about the idea of HBO doing a Robert's Rebellion prequel and he was like "Nuh-Uh. They don't have the rights to that."
SauronsBANE
SauronsBANE - 6/4/2015, 6:24 PM
@CplHicks Yep, I'm not surprised. I would hope he'll eventually sell the rights for something like that, but obviously it's up to him. I'd kill for a movie series with a huge budget, but clearly it's working out on TV just fine haha.

JonStarkgaryen - 6/4/2015, 6:41 PM
Solid list Ryguy!

I’m not too sure that Hotah, Daario, Loras, or Brienne would agree though...
