Hey Malcopunch here and i want to ask you guys a question, Has Game of Thrones set our expectations too high for other TV Shows?

I started to think about this question when i was going to school when my twin sister told me that she saw the Flash TV Trailer. I asked her thoughts on it and let's just say she had a negative opinion on it saying " the CGI looks really bad" "the acting was chessy as hell" etc. I told to wait till the pilot comes out before she judges it since it is just a trailer. The reason i orginally thought she did not like the Flash TV Show is that she very cynical. Even on Game of Thrones she thought Season 4 and especially the last episode wasn't that good because it did not accurately bring the finale to the bring screen complaining about Tyrion and Twin and the lack of a certain charcter but then i started to think about the show itself. Game of Thrones for a TV Series has a really good budget with top class actors and great effects for the most part. So it started to get me thinking..has Game of Thrones set our expectations too high. Many Teenagers i have talked to won't even watch other Amercian shows besides Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. Both shows are really good but my guess is that they do not want to watch a show that does have almost movie quality acting. Arrow while i do love does not have the best acting in the world and i will freely admit that..same with the Flash Trailer. Its sad that many pepole will not give shows such as Flash and Arrow a chance because it doesn't have amazing CGI affects and movie quality acting like in those shows. In conculsion i do think shows such as Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad have set our expectations high for other tv shows such as Arrow and Flash. While it is okay to have our expectations high we as nerds cannot have the same expectations for other tv shows. These are just my thoughts you may disagree or agree with them. I would like to know you guys opinions on this subject in the comments below..
