In the closing moments of last night's episode of Game of Thrones, the ultimate fate of Jon Snow was finally revealed: the bastard of Winterfell lives again. It took some persuasion from Davos, but Melisandre used some of her sorcery (well, in this case necromancy) to raise the former Lord Commander of the Night's Watch from the dead.

Many fans did see something like this coming to be fair, but Kit Harington was still sworn to secrecy, and had to insist Snow was dead whenever he was quizzed about it in interviews. And of course, he really wasn't lying - the much-loved character was dead as a doornail.

In the video below Harington apologizes to the fans, and also reveals to EW in one excerpt from their interview that this will actually be "a massive season for Jon. It’s his biggest season for him so far.”
