It's been a heckuva season, maybe even the best yet, but there's still a lot of story left to be told. This Sunday, we cross the midway point with episode 6: "Blood of my Blood" and judging by the title, it sounds like there might be something major happening with Daenerys and her new Dothraki army. Elsewhere, Arya will once again be confronted with making a difficult choice, Gilly will meet Sam's family, and Jaime Lannister will face-off with the High Sparrow. The coming installment will also see the return of an old foe, the identity of whom has been shrouded in secrecy, although Walder Frey is certainly a possibility. The preview also revealed we'll see the aftermath of Hodor's sacrifice. Check out the latest batch of stills below:

Episode #56: “Blood of My Blood”

Debut: SUNDAY, MAY 29 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT)

An old foe comes back into the picture. Gilly (Hannah Murray) meets Sam’s (John Bradley) family. Arya (Maisie Williams) faces a difficult choice. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) faces off against the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce).

Written by Bryan Cogman; directed by Jack Bender.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.

It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'

An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.

Game of Thrones returns May 29
