Fringe again not nominated for anything? I hate the emmys sometimes

My god some of these are awful. No love for Archer or Legend of Korra in the animation category. And Arrested Development doesn't get nominated for best comedy series, but Big Bang Theory does? Madness!

ThisIsHeavy - 7/18/2013, 6:57 AM
Breaking Bad all the way.

And of course that piece of crap Big Bang Theory gets nominated over Arrested Development, Parks and Recreations, Community, and Wilfred.

I don't think there's anything surprising about The Walking Dead not being nominated for anything. The zombies are the most engaging part of the show. Granted, it's getting better, but the scripting and acting have always been a little sub-par, especially up against Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Homeland, etc.

@Charlie2094

I found the show funny the first season, but after that they just kept repeating the same jokes over and over again.

[generic sitcom joke set up]
[nerd reference as punch line]
*laugh track cranked up to 11*

@Killersloth- Have to agree with you on Fringe. Anna Torv and John Noble have been tremendous the entire series but have gotten no recognition from the emmy's. Kind of ridiculous.

@charlie - everything is bad with Big Bang theory. It's not funny. Period.

Game of thrones NCW as Jamie lannister was totally robbed. This last season he was my favorite character. And I used to hate him. What a great actor.

And walking dead is the most watches show and gets absolutely no love... Wtf

No nom for best comedy for Arrested Development are the Emmy voters high? I'm rooting for GoT but I'm sure it'll go to Breaking Bad which is ok, but I just hope Thrones wins.

Where is James Wolk for supporting actor in a drama? His role as Bob Benson on Mad Men was amazing. He's one of the best characters they've ever put into that show.

Im surprised Walking Dead got snubbed. Very happy that Game of Thrones is getting the recognition it deserves.

Missing Adventure Time and Korra in the animated department, and Arrested Development and it's actors in the comedy categories.

Hope GoT wins everything it's nominated for!

Okay, what the hell.

No Michelle Fairley? Her Catelyn Stark was brilliant and she's gone now.

Her screams at the wedding resonate with me now.

batfan175 - 7/18/2013, 7:57 AM
No Michelle Fairley or NCW for Game of Thrones? Emmys, you fail but at least Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage still get some recognition, even though Tyrion did nothing all season besides marrying Sansa.

Explain to me why Battlestar Galactica is doing nomninated in Outstanding Special Visual Effects? It ended in 2009. Did they need a sixth nomination or what?

And I am so disaapointed that Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany didn't get nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series. I mean she plays like 6 different characters in the series. And eachy character is brilliantly acted.

Yay, Defiance got nominated!

Breaking Bad better win this because it is one of the greatest TV shows of all time. There are several shows that should be on this list for instance why isn't Parks and Recreation and Community nominated for anything because those shows are some of the funniest on TV. Nick Offerman AKA Ron Swanson for Parks and Rec should be nominated for best actor in a comedy series.

Also there is no Sons of Anarchy nominations which makes me disappointed.

ParisSun

Not sure why Peter Dinklage is not in the Best Actor category. And NCW should have been nominated as well. Sad awards just continues to lack imagination. Keep on nominating the same folks for doing the same crap every year.
Ryguy88
Ryguy88 - 7/18/2013, 9:35 AM
Dinklage is always awesome but Coster-Waldau was the best part of season 3 no doubt!

I'm glad The Walking Dead didnt get a nom, that show is a boardrline waste of time.

Breaking is one of the best shows of all time so hopefully it beats out Homeland this year for best drama.
Horsemanofwar

David Benioff & D.B. Weiss deserve the writing award all the way! Game of Thrones!
Sparks

I'm glad for Game Of Thrones, Defiance, Regular Show and Homeland getting nominations. But why isn't Orphan Black nominated, the show is fantastic and Tatiana Maslany brilliantly plays 6 completeley different characters, how can the academy ignore that?
BIGBMH
BIGBMH - 7/18/2013, 9:40 AM
I really hope GoT wins. It would be great for something with fantasy elements to get that level of respect.
