The following synopses for episodes 9 and 10 of the third season of Game Of Thrones are quite interesting. Fans of the source novels from George R.R. Martin might notice a couple of slight differences in the plot -- are we in for a different take on the controversial "red wedding"?

Episode 3.09 – The Rains of Castamere
Robb presents himself to Walder Frey, and Edmure meets his bride. Jon faces his harshest test yet. Bran discovers a new gift. Daario and Jorah debate how to take Yunkai. House Frey joins with House Tully. (Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by David Nutter.)

Episode 3.10 – Mhysa
Joffrey challenges Tywin. Bran tells a ghost story. In Dragonstone, mercy comes from strange quarters. Dany waits to see if she is a conqueror or a liberator. (Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by David Nutter.)

What do you guys think of season 3 so far? Sound off in the usual place.

Don't mess about with the Red wedding,keep it just how it is in the book.

Such a joyous occasion.

I don't know what you're smoking Beatnation, season 3 is so far way better than 2.

Anyway, they've perfectly captured all the scenes so far this season so it's almost guaranteed they'll knock 'it' out of the park.

The only good part of season 2 were the last two episodes dealing with the Siege of Blackwater Bay and its aftermath. The rest of that season was very forgettable.

This show i sso boring! It's like watching the deleted scenes of lord of the rings, only with less creativity. More random nudity and violence. No tension or drama in 90 percent of the episode save for maybe one scene or two per episode.

@darkbeefstakes: Sorry that the rest of us seemingly don't have ADD like you. Most of us quite enjoy the character development and the fact that they are taking their time to include iconic moments from the books. Maybe subtle and intelligent entertainment isn't for you.

@Beatnation: not enough stupid explosions?

@capcyclops

I wouldn't say rumored. It is pretty obvious for anyone who has read the books that Jon Snow's parents are Raeghar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark.

Wait, how can it be the half way point through the season, and there only be 2 episodes left?

There are 10 episodes this "season". We just watched #6 with Little Finger talking at the end of the episode.

Jon & daenerys will eventually meet, fall in love, & rule what's left of the Iron Throne together when the writer finally finishes the books (the whole series is called 'A Song of Ice & Fire' after all.)

Lol:) Nah, it's a complete guess and nothing more. Would be surprised if it's right as it seems far too obvious.
