Plenty of time to see:
-what happened in Tahiti
-why Coulson is alive
-the cellist
-what did Coulson do when he found out that Fury destroyed his vintage trading cards
-the fish tank
-some REAL avengers cameos (even though I doubt that)

Great news for the cast and crew. Now kill of Fitz-Simmons and hire a black person and another character.

This show seems to be getting better and better with each episode. I feel like I'm starting to get involved more and I'm liking how they're connecting everything together, throwing in a bit of mystery as well, it's working great so far (as proven by these ratings, which will continue), I actually like how subdued it is and yet it keeps reminding you of the fantastic things you could potentially see later-on because of the scope of the movies and the universe as a whole.

PeterDarker - Wrong. This show already has a huge budget dosen't mean it has been good so far. It's kind of sad that all you're looking forward to is cameos from the Avengers.

Lets see how deep The Story to show can go. I loved episode 1, episode 2 was Meh & 3 was Ok!!. I just wish it had a Darker direction to it along with a Darker Story

Sounds good, now kill off almost the entire cast, except for Coulson and Hill. Bring in some Avengers cameos, possibly Dugan and Carter to be mainstays and then you will have an awesome show!

So question, do they finish filming the whole series BEFORE they air the pilot episode? or do they film throughout the season?

I really have never found this answer.

Awesome!! Bring on the Marvel lore. I can not wait for a May episode. So far we have had a Coulson and a Skye episode, next one looks like Coulson again. I also want more Fitz and Simmons. So far Fits has been more useful but hopefully Simmons will shine in episode with the person from the Savage Land. Also bring on the Inhumans.

I enjoy the nods to the Marvel U, but overall this show just feels too cheesy to me. Its exactly what i expected, but I really do hope it makes some adjustments that will make it a stronger show

Aside for all the constant Whedon-esque "quips", it's actually not bad. Not great yet, but most show need a few episodes before they hit their stride.

@dougieisrollingthejays

Depends on the show. For this one, they filmed episodes before the pilot aired (after ABC gave it the green light), then the show will take a break and they film the rest of the season.

I love how all the cliche commenters are leaving cliche comments bitching about cliches.

For the record, I'm very much looking forward to a Marvel series that doesn't spend every minute sucking the Avengers tits. I didn't watch this to see the same people and same stunts every episode. I want to see an interesting story I haven't seen before. I'm pretty sure that's what Joss is planning on giving us.

Full season ahead! Hell yeah!

Tv usually films episodes a month or two before they air. So to answer the question with a 22 episodes season they begin filming in the summer and end in late March or April at the latest.

Still not sure about this show. Hopefully now that it's confirmed for a full season they really start adding some "meat" to it. I know everyone hates Fitz & Simmons but they can be tolerable if they weren't main characters and just used slightly here and there. The guy that plays Ward is a terrible actor so they should kill him and have Skye feel slightly responsible for it to give her some more depth. Also, bring a new character in with a GOOD actor playing the part. Preferrebly someone more edgy. Lastly S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents are supposed to be spys!! Why would they fly in a huge black plane with their logo on it or driving in vehicles with logos on them?? That shit is ridiculous!

Well now they have that in the bag, now they should have time to course correct the direction of the show. Really needs some work to bring it up to the standard it should be at. This includes better dialogue, much needed better action choreography and hopefully expanding where they film so every location doesn't look like 'this hills' just outside of LA. There is absolutely no excuse that a much lower budgeted Arrow has 10 times better action choreography. I'm still watching hoping they can make enough changes to pull it off.

sweet. So essentially it can only go up from here.
