Tonight, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for a brand-new episode, and Marvel has released an exciting clip.

The clip appears to take place shortly after the final moments of last week’s episode and sees Coulson and Talbot aboard a Confederacy ship, where we see Coulson attempt to negotiate with their alien foes.

However, as we saw at the end last week’s hour, Glenn Talbot isn’t his usual self, mentally or physically. So, the situation quickly goes awry as the Gravitonium-powered Talbot loses his cool and commands their enemies to kneel before him after making quick work of one threat.

Here I was at the start of the season thinking Talbot wouldn't be back and now he's the most powerful villain they've ever had. Oof

They're really going places with Talbot this season. Did not expect him to simultaneously be one of the most tragic and hilarious characters on the show. And now this...

It's good to see they're making use of Adrian Pasdar's acting skills like that.

Probably not the best trailer, but this was a damn good show to watch.
