Ghost Rider's Hell Charger Roars To Life In This First Official AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 Promo

Still no glimpse of Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) in Ghost Rider mode, but this "Vengeance" promo for the fourth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D does give us a look at his devastating vehicle in action...

"They say when the Rider burns you, he burns your soul." We saw a low-quality version of this earlier today, but now Marvel and ABC have officially released the new promo for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4, which features the first real footage from the season premiere, "The Ghost".

It's fairly brief, but in addition to a few shots of Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) and his flaming Hell Charger, we get a look at returning characters Daisy/Quake (Chloe Bennet), Fitz, (Iain De Caestecker), Mack (Henry Simmons), and former Director Coulson (Clark Gregg). There's also a glimpse of one of The Spirit of Vengeance's unfortunate victims right at the end.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns Tuesday, Sept. 20 on ABC, in the new time slot of 10 p.m./9 p.m. Central.

I'm so happy AOS uses the same peeps that do vfx for the films. The car looks gorgeous and the fire was on point just like the comic run!

@SendMoreIdiots - @SendMoreIdiots - Watching Supergirl on Netflix briefly today and then watching stuff like this, I have a whole new level of appreciation for great CGI (salt unintended, sorry). I found myself 'cleansing my palate' by watching various large-scale cinematic fight scenes (Superman vs. Zod, Hulkbuster fight, etc) on YouTube, and then realized how much I - and probably a majority of us - take that VFX quality for granted.

@MrFridayNights - You've made up your mind that he looks boring from a half a second shot of him closing his boot? That's quite a talent.

I'm usually one of the first people to defend this show but I'm worried this Ghost Rider is going to be lame, tbh

I like SHIELD and i'm kinda excited for this, but this is where the single marvel universe backfires in my opinion. What are SHIELD doing going against Ghost Rider? Like are they gonna explain that this is not really a SHIELD kinda threat? Where's Hydra and AIM and Zodiac. It just seems weird to me that this is same universe as Hulk, Daredevil, Spider-Man, Punisher and The Avengers but SHIELD are the ones dealing with Ghost Rider. It just doesn't fit to me i guess.

I'll probably love it when i see it anyway!

I think this may be the BEST season yet. Ghost Rider is going to bring a certain edge and tone that's gonna be refreshing.

I like what I'm seeing so far. The car looks pretty damn cool. I like that quick shot of him closing the trunk. Seems like Reyes is very ominous and they're playing him up as a LEGITIMATE scary threat the team ahould be afraid of. I never got the sense they were scared of Garrett for example. And Ward was scary at times as Hive, but his words were his primary tool of intimidation mostly. Using others to do his dirty work. Ghost Rider looks like he's going to be a FORCE and is going to get his hands dirty himself.

This could very well lead into a Netflix series if handled well.

I wonder how they're going to treat the origin.
