"Providence" - With Colonel Glenn Talbot now on their trail, Coulson and his team seek refuge in the last place anyone would look, where they begin to uncover S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most dangerous secrets--secrets that could destroy them all, on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons. Guest starring are Bill Paxton as Agent Garrett, David Conrad as Ian Quinn, Ruth Negga as Raina, B.J. Britt as Agent Triplett, Adrian Pasdar as Col. Talbot, Patton Oswalt as Koenig, Patrick Brennan as Marcus Daniels, Rich Paul as Agent #1, Bayardo De Murguia as Agent #2, Jeffrey Muller as Agent Kaminsky, Alysha Del Valle as ABC reporter and Ramon Hilario as barber.

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel's feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson's team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet).

A rushed episode just to fit inside the changes of the MCU, but a damn good one at that.

That episode ranks with Season 1 of Dexter. Twists, turns, incredible action. Ward is a bad mother[frick]er. That fight scene with him and the SHIELD agents. Amell can bite it.

!!!!SPOILERS!!!! I KNEW IT. I kept it to myself, to avoid being eaten alive by fans, but after going back and watching Clairvoyant heavy episodes, Garret became my number one pick for being the Clairvoyant, and I was right.
What tipped me off:
1. As said in the episode, the whole point of shooting Skye was to lead the Clairvoyant to what brought Coulson back to life and that's when Garret conveniently showed up.
2. Quinn talking about how the Clairvoyant knew the locations of a bunch of Garret's agent, which who better would know than Garret?
3. Garret was the one who came up with the idea of the Clairvoyant being a reject on S.H.I.E.L.D's radar.
..and much more.
What did catch me by surprise was Ward, until tonight's episode I didn't think Ward would be Hydra, but I did figure it out when he requested to help escort Garret to the fridge.
