I'm usually pretty lenient on this show's acting, but this was pretty eh. I know May's talking on a motorcycle but there's no excuse for why Coulson can't up his intensity a bit. He's just talking in a monotone.

Absorbing man and Peggy Carter saved this season premier.

I'm looking forward to next week.

Anyways, it's been kinda quiet lately as far as huge, exciting stories and reveals are concerned. I got a feeling that something big is gonna break soon... Could be the DD suit reveal or a BvsS announcement it A:AoU related, but, it's a coming. I can feel it in me bones.

I don't know why AoS feels so low budget compared to the other comic-book shows out right now.

To be real Clark Gregg is a monotone bland kind of actor. He's not really compelling at all or kind of intereting enough to lead a show. Realize marvel was banking on his popularity after the avengers films but I think he worked better when in the cinematic universe and not leaving a TV show. I love AOS but there are times I wish it was more of a true espionage spy show kind of like your alias for example. If a AOS was on Netflix I think would be like a little bit better maybe a lot. I get that it's on ABC and that's part of Disney so they have to tone down a bit on the seriousness in the darkness of it all. when you think of the shield show you think of Nick fury leading it so...I'm not saying Coulson sucks but he's not really a capable lead; the actors are kind of bland at times. don't get me wrong I'm big fan of a AOS but there are times where I really love it and times where it annoys me and it's never on an even keel streak of just being really good like arrow sometimes for example.

@NoPhucksGiven right it does feel really low budget compared to other, cb shows. Arrow looks good budget wise and Gotham looks very good budget wise and when the marvel Netflix shows debut it's going to make a AOS look very low rent.

@soforizo I agree with you that seems about right

Agent Carter will be better than AOS because it has a way better lead and the cast so far looks amazing way better than AOS. It's hard to argue. Haley Atwell can carry a show an she's a better actor than Clark Gregg to be honest. The cast so far for agent Carter is looking really good...they have some pretty good actors that are very noticeable from other projects. The mythology interests me more as well. Hope they have Zemo in there maybe. And Strucker as well.

I like that they're really making Coulson act like a real director and not just some agent anymore.
Giving orders and risking his agents' lives to get the main objective

@ComicsBornAndBred

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees it. I really want to love this show. I stuck around the whole first season even when I was ready to quit on it during its slow parts. It just seems to keep disappointing me.

nothing stealth about holding a gun out in public like that when she's not even close enough for a good shot..so many things about this show just seems so amateur to me..

@JoeMomma29- You say something's gonna break soon and the first thing that comes to my mind is the Avengers EMH theme song. lol

" Our world's about to break
Tormented and attacked
Lost from when we wake
With no way to go back
I'm standing on my own
But now I'm not alone
Avengers Assemble!"

@JohnCarter hats what in talking about. You see what I'm saying. Marvel does learn as they go. The cast is great and the lead actress is phenomenal. Positive step in more female led media. Russo Bros are directing the first few episodes. It just has waaaay more potential than AOS. I love AOS but it's true

Looks great. May is awesome, and hopefully Creel is just as much of a beast again. Best CBM villain we've seen so far on TV.
