I love the show. Yes it's a little cheesy, but it's tolerable.

^I'm with you. If smallville can last 10 seasons, no reason this can't.

As far as her name, I think it is Skye. Ward asking her about her real name was probably a joke about someone having the name "Skye" (kinda like they used to joke about Buffy's name), not a hint that she was actually someone else. I think she did wipe out all traces of her existence, but more to protect herself than to change her name.

As for rights, I believe that Marvel has ALL the rights when it comes to television. That's why they get to do cartoons of the X-Men & Spiderman. So they could easily introduce mutants or Spiderman or Spiderwoman or anyone else on this show. They just can't carry them into the movies.

They keep mentioning the Avengers so much. And its only been two episodes so far. Im curious to see who else gets a reference in future episodes.

The only thing I agree with is that Coulson and Agent May are the most interesting characters. If the rest of the characters were replaced or were just occasionals, the show would be just as good.

Fitz-Patrick are obviously suppsed to bring the same vibe ast the companions on Dr. Who...

So far, Ward is just the muscle. Not the least bit curious about his past because his present is not that interesting...

Skye is REALLY hot, so don't mind seeing her every week. That's about as far as my love for the character goes. However, I hope they find a better reason to keep her around other that "we know nothing about her." That's just a piss poor excuse. In fact, its the perfect reason not to give her access to above classified information...

@MoonDoggy they keep her around so she can do things that SHEILD can't. She's a hacker, and people can't trace her to SHEILD.
