CLOAK AND DAGGER: Check Out A Brief New Teaser For Marvel And Freeform's Upcoming Series

Freeform has debuted a new promo for its upcoming Cloak and Dagger TV series, which stars Olivia Holt as Tandy Bowen and Aubrey Joseph as Tyrone Johnson.  The footage is very brief, but we do get a glimpse of a child (presumably a younger Tandy) reaching out and grasping a hand (presumably Tyrone's) that's been enveloped in an eerie darkness.

The show, which is set to premiere on June 7, will introduce us to these star-crossed lovers, as we witness the events that lead to them becoming the warriors of darkness and light known as Cloak and Dagger.

Check out the teaser below, and let us know if you're looking forward to Cloak and Dagger in the comments.

Hope they crossover with the Runaways...although shows don't really do that anymore

@Kevwebsz - It’s a shame the Marvel shows don’t have more crossover with each other

Disney television wreaks of IKE PERLMUTTER. I can just hear him talk when I watch

"no cgi! i dont care if Luke cage and Jessica Jones could punch someone thru 2.5 buildings, We will use cables only!!!!!!!"

"But, sir... with all due respect... every other SUPERHERO TV show is kicking our ass's in their aesthetic. Shouldn't we try to compete?"

"No! I am single-handedly making america great again! We will film these like its the 40's or we wont do it at all!!!"

"can we at least stop using the disgustingly pathetic toy company Hasbro to make all our toys?"

"what?!?!?! Hasbro is state of art toys!!!"

@PBIRD - But the Marvel Netflix shows and AOS have a better aesthetic than the CW shows.

@Nightwing1015 - daredevil yes, but every time i see luke or jessica punch someone that barely goes anywhere..... I get kind of pissed off.

It should look like the THOR or CAP punching someone... and daredevil should have enhanced jumping and strength and they need to start making these shows look less like cheap broadway productions.

also.... hey man! long time no talky! how is life? hope it's finding you in good places.

Definitely will check this show out. As long as it doesn't get too CW-ey, then I may have a new show on my hands.

I think the show looks pretty good for what it seemingly sets out to be.

This also reminds me that I still have most of Runaways to watch.

@Kyos - Runaways: Did the initial episodes you watched not appeal to you or did you just have other priorities?

@ICStoopedPeople - I watched I believe the first 3 episodes, and it didn't quite click with me as much as the comics did. Then I wanted to wait until more episodes were out, but somehow failed to get back to it due to other stuff. I didn't dislike what I'd seen, but I guess if it had appealed to me as much as other things I'd be long finished. Also heard about some changes to the comics that I thought sounded not-that-great.
