We recently shared some photos of Charlie Cox posing with fans on the NYC set of Marvel Studios' upcoming Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, and we now have a first glimpse of the actor filming a scene as Matt Murdock.
Photos and video have been shared online featuring Cox in Murdock's signature shades as he converses with a group of people outside a courthouse. We also have a first look at Margarita Levieva, who is believed to be playing Matt's love interest.
The shots aren't the clearest (or the most exciting), but we should start to see better-quality images doing the rounds as filming continues.
Vincent D'Onofrio (Wilson Fisk) and Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle) are also set to reprise their respective roles from the now defunct Netflix shows. New cast members include Michael Gandolfini, and Sandrine Holt.
Most of the new characters remain under wraps, but we recently learned that Holt will play The Kingpin's wife, Vanessa Fisk.
The 18-episode epic will be loosely based on the '80s Marvel Comics series of the same name by Frank Miller and David Mazzuchelli, but is not expected to be an overly faithful adaptation. Despite some significant changes to the story, "Daredevil versus Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, remains the focal point."
Matt Corman and Chris Ord are on board as writers and executive producers. No premiere date has been announced, but the show is expected to bow in the spring of 2024.
