Marvel Release First Official Images Of Charlie Cox As Matt Murdock And DAREDEVIL

Marvel.com have released the first two official stills from Daredevil, the first of their highly anticipated shows coming to Netflix over the next couple of years. While many fans were expecting a first look at the Man Without Fear in his classic red (or possibly even yellow!) suit today, it appears as if they're going to take their time with that reveal as we instead see a costume which is clearly inspired by Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.'s critically acclaimed retelling of Daredevil's origin, Man Without Fear. The show seems to be coming together very nicely so far, so stay tuned to CBM as we'll have a lot more details about the series over the coming weeks and months!

"Marvel's Daredevil" follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City.

What do you guys think of this first official look at Matt Murdock/Daredevil? Sound off below!

Everyone is so pissed about how his first costume isn't the proper dd costume. But like, he's blind! Why would he start off with a red costume when he's blind and operating at night. Ninja makes total sense. Though it kinda has an Iron Fist vibe.

Him as Matt is perfect. The glasses, the black eye! DONE!

You know what? I'll be completely honest here: I like it. I actually really like it. Sure, it's a massive change, but it's still really good. It's intimidating, it's realistic, it's dark, and it's a good design in itself if you don't relate it to Daredevil. It looks like his original costume in Frank Millar's Daredevil: The Man Without Fear. In the end, it's pretty good. I have hopes however that he'll change his costume at some point in the show (or maybe in the finale leading up to The Defenders or season 2).

Anyone who can't tell this is a proto type suit needs help. As someone else who I can't remember said, you aren't going to start with a fully engineered, perfectly tailored suit. It takes a while.

Nothing too exciting love that they took inspiration from what Frank Miller and John Romita Jr. did in "Man Without Fear"

I'm guessing he will wear this at 1st, and then at some point get the yellow outfit or go straight for the red jammies.
