Michael C. Hall Expresses Interest In DAREDEVIL Role

He's been a fan favourite casting suggestion for the role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil for as long as any of us can remember, but Dexter star Michael C. Hall has now confirmed that he would indeed be interesting in becoming the Man Without Fear! Check it out...

Marvel Studios gained the rights back to Daredevil a couple of years ago, and while he sat on the shelf for a little while, the character is now being lined up for his own Netflix series alongside Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. With Dexter no longer on air, the support for Michael C. Hall to play the character has continued to grow, and when Vulture caught up with the actor recently, he addressed recent rumours that he's linked to the character. "I've heard them, but I think that's all they are — rumors," Hall told the site. "Don't misunderstand, I would definitely consider it … but I can't tell you any inside information, because I think they're nothing but rumors. I really am enjoying mixing it up a little bit, and I'm committing to things that have a foreseeable end in sight when I start them, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of [a new series] happening at some point. But I'd have to read the script!" If Marvel are indeed interested in Hall, the fact that he's expressed his interest like this might just help put him into contention. Of course, he wouldn't be suitable if they're looking to cast a Daredevil right at the start of his career and those rumours did originate from an unreliable source, so we'll just have to wait and see for now...
