D'Onofrio's Kingpin is the best CB villain after Heath's Joker.

DD comics are not as dark as they used to be.......It be great if they bring back the style of writing Miller had......Got a feeling they will.

It's the best origin story due to the 13hrs it was given.

Flash which I've only seen the Pilot......Arrow is good but to compare CW shows to a pure adult Netflix show is not fair.........I would love to see a Arrow show in a more Darker grittier show like DD...

I would say Kingpin is the best MCU villian but not the second best villian I think that is reserved for Doc Ock

Really good show. I would love for DC to do a Question tv show, on HBO in the same vein as Daredevil. A full blown noir detective series. Something like this

Just with a conspiracy nut who questions everything, even his own sanity, who just so happens to also be an investigative reporter.

Something along these line.

I would also love for DC to move Constantine and Arrow to HBO. Maybe even Gotham, so we could get a proper Gotham central show where we could at least get a little glimpse of Batman showing up from time to time and not this crap where Bruce is a little kid while all of his villains are grown, which doesn't even make any sense. I would also love a Nightwing show on HBO, and again if you use Nightwing Batman has to show up. It can be the same Batman from Gotham and that way, the two shows could be connected.

@ Gliderman

Im only on Episode 9 so maybe something changes, but up until then Fisk isn't really a Kingpin yet. He's working with other criminal organizations. Groups that seem to be more powerful than him. This is him still in the process of building his empire. I think it kind of makes sense to not call him Kingpin yet.

@GLIDERMAN... it wasn't until the last episode, when he was in custody and told the Good Samaritan story that he fully transitioned to an evil man. Till that point he was toeing the line, similar to the way that Matt was the entire series. Once Fisk was pushed into the corner, forced to choose, he boldly walked down the center of the road strewn with bodies (AMAZING SCENE)and was fully the villain he will be going forward. He was Wilson Fisk right up until the very end, now he is the King Pin. It coincided with Matt fully transitioning to Daredevil, their parallel course was a huge part of the series.

@gliderman.. all Hoffman's word did (and he IS a police detective) was corroborate all the work that Karen and Ben had done. Remember one of the biggest issues to getting the story written or taking their finding to the authorities was that they couldn't find any corroborating witnesses. Hoffman changed that. He was able to put names, faces, dates, transactions, all together. Karen had the money trail in her possession. Once the feds get a look at that stuff they can unravel it. This was a very tight script and upon 1st viewing there weren't allot of unintentional plot holes. Everything can be nit picked but when someone's 2 biggest complaints about a 13 episode show (that's a lot of content) is the main antagonists nick name (considering the hero didn't get HIS nickname till the last 5 minutes of the show) and the speed with which the FBI was able to make arrests... that speaks volumes for how good the show is.

Did anyone else find the finale to be slightly anticlimactic? The suit was just alright, but what really bothered me was the confrontation with Fisk. It was so short and all of the lines were so corny, especially Daredevil's "This is my city, my family." as he stiffly beat Fisk with his billy club. I felt that they played up Fisk's strength really well throughout the season, but ended up making him look foolish at the end. I expect a second season to be fast-tracked with the reviews this show has gotten so far. With the Hand and Stick's subplot with the Chaste, I can only imagine that we will be getting Elektra and an even more martial arts oriented second season sooner than we expect. Maybe we get an appearance from Gladiator (not just Melvin Potter) and maybe even Bullseye.

Overall, I'd say my interest was peaked with the end of Episode 2. The rest of the season was good, but just not as engaging, although there were some great character moments spread throughout the show.
