That was awesome. I really feel like they are capturing the essence of the comic, and it won't be blood porn like Spartacus

I can't believe something as dark and gritty like this show is in the same universe as Guardians of The Galaxy. I'm excited! Bring it Marvel!

The thing that bothers me most about the new F4 is not that it's "dark" or "grounded", but rather how vanilla it is. There's no flair, or an overall feel to it, it just feels like bland tripe. This, however, I imagine will be much darker and grounded, but at the same time, Marvel did not forget that this is a comic book property, and gave that feel. You know this is DD coming in, and coming out, regardless if it's good or not, though I fully expect this to be not just good, but great.

DD is one the most criminally underrated heroes. There is an argument that he is perhaps better than even Batman. I won't be surprised if this Netflix series is actually better than my favorite comic book movie, Winter Soldier.
