LOKI Star Jonathan Majors May Have Just Scored A Big Win In Ongoing Domestic Violence Case

The legal case against Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania star Jonathan Majors just took an interesting turn, and it could ultimately go some way in clearing the beleaguered actor's name. Check it out...

By now, we're sure you're all familiar with the ongoing legal issues surrounding Loki and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania star Jonathan Majors.

After being arrested back in March, the actor is facing charges of two counts of assault in the third degree, aggravated harassment, and attempted assault against a woman. Should he be found guilty, then his career is almost certainly over, as is his time as the MCU's Kang the Conqueror.

Majors has long maintained his innocence, claiming he was simply defending himself from a drunken attack by ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

Now, his lawyer has told Newsweek that Majors is "provably the victim here" after two NYPD precincts found probable cause to arrest Jabbari. It's said the actor presented police with evidence last week, with the result being that Jabbari has since been arrested for assaulting Majors.

It's currently unclear what impact this will have on the case against the Creed III star, though it certainly appears to go in his favour. Ultimately, it will be down to the District Attorney to decide what happens next and should the case against Majors proceed, his fate will be in the hands of a jury.

Marvel Studios recently delayed Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, with the unexpected benefit being that it gives them more time to decide how to proceed.

Majors remains innocent until proven guilty, and if the charges are dropped, there's no reason he couldn't continue playing Kang. There are a lot of factors to take into account, so only time will tell where things go from here.

Majors has already shot his role in Loki season 2, but there have been rumblings that the show ends in a way which could leave the door open to the actor being replaced (if he hasn't been already).

Stay tuned for updates as we have them.

I just hope we can finally have a clear answer on what happened and move on from this. And eventually, Marvel will have to announce what they're gonna do in terms of keeping him or recasting.

Overall, if he didn't do it and stays as Kang, then that's obviously the best case scenario

@iceballsreborn - He wasnt a lame Kang, but the variant they wrote for him in antman was. Majors did great with what he had.

@Shivermetimbers - thats fair to say that they wrote it poorly. but i think it was really underwhelming in Loki too. he should have IMO had an undertone which was menacing.. lighthearted quippy, but still incredibly scary.. and he wasnt.. he came across as light, and then got killed off.

majors in creed, was really impressive, so yeh can act. i jsut dont think weve seen it soe far in the MCU

@iceballsreborn - He was nasty in Creed. I hope he brings more of that kind of energy if he is able to play Kang again. Need more menace like that to believe him as an Avengers level threat.

@iceballsreborn - but the Kang in Loki shouldn’t have been menacing. That Kang was holder everything in line so the others couldn’t destroy everything.

@philinterrupted - he just seemd like he'd got an upped prozac dose the morning. all over the place.

@iceballsreborn - I believe he was supposed to be exhausted from it all.

@iceballsreborn - Absolutely not. He was one of the BEST parts of AM3. He was also incredible as He Who Remains. Have your opinion, but that definitely ain't fact.

@Variant - and yet you state things as absolute? is your opinion fact? why not practice what you preach.

@iceballsreborn - All you are confirming by your comments is that some of you are wannabe directors.

@SauronthePower - Sir how can you compare in anyway the greatest franchise ever, with an MCU bit? I insist you hand in you LOTR fellowship, membership card and limited edition whistle.

@iceballsreborn - CBM apparently deleted my comment. The response was meant for another user and when I attempted to cut-and-paste, the gatekeeper-keyword software must have flagged it

Regardless: just a comparison

An innocent comparison

Really, just an innocuous, innocent comparison 😳

I’d be more apt and possibly concerned if Jackson hadn’t annihilated (literally) his own legacy with that 2nd piece of sh-t trilogy 🤷‍♂️

iceballsreborn - 6/28/2023, 1:41 PM
@SauronthePower - that second trilogy is everything wrong with cinema. made as a cashgrab, stretched out thin plot, CGI overuse instead of the amazing prosthetics. and even his direction was more the traditional - and utterly terrible- shaky cam.

@iceballsreborn - Yeah, I'm not sure they even know what tone the current phase (the MCU in general) should have at this point, but hopefully they've learned something from Ant Man. I still wonder what the thought process was for MODOK lite.

@iceballsreborn - yessir

AND some of the absolute WORST sequential writing in the history of cinema

@WhatIfRickJames - wildings spelling aside.. that lawyer seriously made this worse than it could have been for Majors. terrible job.

Just curious, what do you guys like about Majors’ performance? Preferably something specific please
AmazingFILMporg
AmazingFILMporg - 6/28/2023, 9:36 AM
@JFerguson -

The guy has Rizz and is menacing at the same time. He is very versatile. He can play a hero and villain. That's very rare.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 6/28/2023, 9:37 AM
@JFerguson - I thought he was great in Loki. Very charismatic and entertaining. He made me excited to see what the real Kang would be like.

I wasn't as thrilled with his appearance in Quantumania. And it's hard for me to tell if it's him or if it's just the way he was written, but he felt a little bland to me, while still being the performance in the movie lol.

Did I dislike his performance? Not at all. It was just different than his Loki appearance. And I understand he IS a different character, don't get me wrong. But I guess I was expecting something as good as his Loki appearance, and it fell just a little short of that.
