As the premiere of Loki draws nearer, promotion is beginning to kick up a notch or two (we will most likely get a final trailer within the next week or so), and Disney+ has now released a new featurette to bring fans up to speed on the God of Mischief's journey so far.
In the video, star Tom Hiddleston takes us all the way back to Loki's debut in the first Thor movie, as he touches on all the most significant events in the character's MCU journey right up until the alternate timeline version absconds with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame.
It's already been confirmed that the miniseries will pick up right after Loki uses the Infinity Stone to disappear, finding himself captured by the TVA and held accountable for messing up the timeline.
He's supposed to do it in 30 seconds, but that was never going to stop the Asgardian trickster from putting a bit more time on the clock! Check out the featurette below along with EW's tie-in motion cover.
Loki will see the God of Mischief step "out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, and he'll be joined by Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer."
Marvel's highly-anticipated Disney+ series is set to premiere on the streaming service on June 9.
