Marvel has now officially announced the television and animation panels we'll be seeing at San Diego Comic-Con next month, and there's a lot to take it.

In addition to an extended trailer for season 2 of The Gifted, we'll get a new look at upcoming animated series Marvel Rising, details on Legion season 3 and Iron Fist season 2 (some footage is also a decent possibility), and much more.

The panels begin on Thursday, July 19, and run through to Sunday, July 2. You'll find more details below!

To view the panels all at once, simply click on the VIEW LIST (ONE PAGE) button below!

Things kick-off with a first look at upcoming animated series, Marvel Rising.

This show promises to "bring together the next generation of Marvel Super Heroes for the next generation of Marvel fans," and features the voice talents of Chloe Bennet as Quake, Milana Vayntrub as Squirrel Girl, Kathreen Khavari as Miss Marvel, Kamil McFadden as Patriot, and more.

The panel is scheduled from 3:15 PM – 4:15 PM in room 6DE.

Iron Fist Season 2

If Marvel is planning to show off any footage from season 2 of Netflix's Iron Fist then they're keeping it a secret, but they do promise that we'll "get the exclusive inside scoop on what’s in-store for season two as Danny Rand and Colleen Wing set off on a new adventure as the protectors of lower NYC."

Join Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb and "surprise guests" in Ballroom 20 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Friday, July 20: Cloak And Dagger

Fans of Fox's X-Men spin-off, The Gifted, will get to see the first extended trailer for the show during this panel, which will also feature appearances from executive producers Matt Nix and Jeph Loeb along with stars Stephen Moyer, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont and more.

Plus, we have a brief synopsis:

The Gifted” picks up after the explosion of the Atlanta Station. The Mutant Underground search for their friends and family who left with The Inner Circle. Having tracked them outside of Washington, D.C., they must contend with new groups with extreme ideologies, both human and mutant alike, to stave off a brewing conflict.

This panel is set to run from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM in Room 6A.

Nice write-up, Ror. I was beginning to think that SDCC would be empty because it seems like everyone has announced they're skipping it this year.

Awe. No Daredevil?

Oh well. Hope to see a trailer for season 2 of Iron Fist and a first look at a costume. Iron Fist may be one of my most anticipated returning shows due to the new showrunner and the plans to reinvent the character closer to his comic roots.

Nice to know there is still some Marvel presence on Comic-Con. Marvel Rising has most of my attention at the moment

I'm not interested in that Marvel Rising thing but I hope it's good.

I'm definitely looking forward to Iron Fist season 2 stuff. I haven't been able to watch Luke Cage season 2 on my Netflix yet but the positive buzz about Finn Jones and Danny Rand at least proves he wasn't miscast.

I also need to get to watching Cloak and Dagger too. I hear it's good so I'm anticipating that.

I have not seen a single episode of The Gifted, and I don't plan on changing that. Sadly it just doesn't grab my interest.

Black Panther's Quest has my curiosity and I've been on a forum with a guy who's working on it, so I'm hoping it's good stuff.

I haven't watched Legion season 2 either (I'm so behind, I know). I have no idea if it's still good, an improvement or not, so I might have to avoid stuff from it because of spoilers.

Danny Rand was pretty cool in Luke Cage. Not totally drawn to Finn Jones, but at least the character wasn't annoying this time around. Get this man a costume though, my GOSH!

Well, I already know I'm not getting into Hall H, so I'm going to miss the Legion stuff. Hopefully, the other rooms will not be as crowded.
Cloak and Dagger must be doing really well to get Ballroom 20. That's the next biggest room to Hall H. They deserve it. I'm all caught up now. It's definitely a slow burn, but I'm invested in the characters now.

Just give me the release dates for season 2 of Iron Fist & season 3 of Daredevil. It would be nice if they show IF costume on display too....

As far as comic stuff goes, there isn't much I am looking forward to. I hope sdcc can change that. It probably will. That's kinda its job.

Really exciting about Legion of course! The rest I don't really care (a little interested about Iron Fist tho)

So excited for Legion S3 but I want some more of the wierd shit in S2 explained first! S2 was a mixed bag for me.

Loved the actor who played the Shadow King (David Negahban?)
Loved ‘Behind Blue Eyes’
Cinematography
Costumes
Music
Loved the ending
Loved the Jon Hamm segments

Jon Hamm segements didnt all come together and have a cool reveal like i thought they would. Seemed pointless in the end.
Disliked how the chattering thing just led to the monk and the monk led nowhere
Disliked the mustached computer gals (wierd for the sake of wierd?) and baskethead (who also went nowhere along with Ptonomy and his random Grandma in the rocking chair in the computer)
The Minotaur- what the [frick]?
The cow with dirt and shots of Syd sinking in dirt- wtf?
The future Syd storyline
Syd in general- she seemed creepy this season and perpetually cranky and kinda holier than thou.
Why was David gone for a whole year when he just got kidnapped for a 2 minute convo with Syd?
Why was he having the psychic dance battle in the club when they found him? Howd he get there?
Why was Lenny buried in the desert?
The [frick]ing donut truck and guys in suits?
Melanie’s storyline
They didn’t properly utilize Oliver’s character, which had great potential with SK possessing him, and the 1+1 thing foreshadowing that he would eventually take SK down.
What was with the chicken delusion??

Guess I disliked more than I liked in the end. But seriously how good was Negahban? Didnt think SK could get better than Plaza and the yellow eyes monster. Or the thought of Oliver playing him. But damn Negahban was suave.

What about Daredevil Season 3, does this mean Iron Fist Season 2 is next?

@FusionWarrior - Yep. It wrapped production before Daredevil. Daredevil will hopefully still premiere this year. Maybe we get Iron Fist in september and Daredevil in late November.

Who would thought that in like just one weekend (plus The Defenders) now people here are excited about Iron Fist S2?

I'm interested in most of all the live action panels. Sucks no Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but oh well.

They need to knock Iron Fist out of the park this season, to make up for that disastrous garbage they gave us in season 1.

@LordHarryLatts - Well, at least the dumped Scott Buck as showrunner.
JDL

@LordHarryLatts - Agreed. Tbh I bailed 3.5 eps in to S1. I could not stand Danny. The rest were fine but he was so repulsive I could not make myself watch.

That said we need a catch-up for S2 that details the important parts of S1. Anyone want to volunteer to make one ?
