GOTHAM's Natalie Alyn Lind Joins Matt Nix And Bryan Singer's X-MEN TV Series In Key Role
The cast of Fox and Marvel's untitled X-Men family drama has added another cast member today in the form of Gotham actress Natalie Alyn Lind. Hit the jump for details on who she's playing...
The roster of Fox's upcoming X-Men pilot continues to grow, this time with the addition of Natalie Alyn Lind (The Goldbergs). Following the casting of Stephen Moyer as the father in the family which will take centre stage here, we now know that the Gotham star will play one of the children, Lauren, a character who is presumably a mutant given the untitled show's logline (which can be seen below).
According to the character description, she's smart, pretty, popular, organized and already ahead on her college applications and is the model of a perfect kid. Who knows what her power will be, but it doesn't sound like this is a mutant from the comic books unless that's just a code name. Jamie Chung was recently cast as Blink, while Blair Redford and Sean Teale are playing mutants.
The show is set to focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. The Sentinels have been confirmed as appearing while Nix has been previously quoted as saying that the untitled series will be set in the same world as the films.
