FOX has released two action-packed new trailers for the upcoming second season of their hit X-Men drama, The Gifted, featuring tons of new footage of both the Mutant Underground and The Inner Circle.

With The Gifted returning for its second season later this month, FOX has released two awesome new trailers, featuring fresh footage of both the Mutant Underground and their new adversaries, who are calling themselves The Inner Circle.

The Mutant Underground will return several familiar faces, including Reed Strucker (Stephen Moyer), Caitlin Strucker (Amy Acker), Lauren
Strucker (Natalie Alyn Lind), Eclipse (Sean Teale), Blink (Jaime Chung), and Thunderbird (Blair Redford) while The Inner Circle will consist of Polaris (Emma Dumont), Andy (Percy Hynes White), Reeva Payge (Grace Byers), and Esmé Frost (Skyler Samuels). Jace Turner (Coby Bell) will also return, but his allegiances remain uncertain.

Action-adventure family drama THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

This new season looks good. The first season was pretty well made, but got a bit bogged down by the Strucker family scenarios.
Looks like the Inner Circle (Hellfire Club) will be taking a more prominent role this season, which is good, as so far we have only really seen the cuckoo sisters, apparently there may be more of them like in the comics - I think there were five originally.
In the absence of Agents of Shield until next summer, this will have to tide me over.

I LOVE this show! Its amazing to me that fox did a better job with the xmen with this TV show then almost all of the movies. This IMO is bc they embraced the comicbook world that the xmen exist rather than trying to "ground" the material so much.
