Get ready for a number of family reunions on New Year's Day as the Mutant Underground is forced to seek out the help of the Inner Circle in order to save John (Blair Redford) from Jace (Coby Bell) and the Purifiers.

This means not only will fans get to see Eclipse (Sean Teale) reunite with his starcrossed lady love Polaris (Emma Dumont), but they'll also get a chance to see the Strucker family reunite with Andy (Percy Hynes White), but it sounds like Lauren (Natalie Alyn Lind) won't be particularly enthusiastic about her estranged brother reentering their lives, especially after their last encounter nearly killed her.

THE STRUCKERS REUNITE ON THE ALL-NEW WINTER PREMIERE OF "THE GIFTED" TUESDAY, JANUARY 1, ON FOX

Andy considers reconnecting with his family when he learns about his father's powers, but Lauren may not be as willing to have him back as their parents. Find out if the Mutant Underground and Inner Circle will be able to put their differences aside in order to save John from the Purifiers in the all-new "eneMy of My eneMy" winter premiere episode of THE GIFTED airing Tuesday, Jan. 1 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Looking forward to the second half of the season. It started off a little slow, but has really picked up the last several episodes. I'm a little scared it will be on the bubble for renewal with the Disney/Fox merger.

So this show will be AXED in what, 2 years maybe? 3 if they're lucky. Once Marvel starts doing their X-Men thing. Its a solid show, but I fell off a little while back.
