THE GIFTED: The Mutant Underground Buries One Of Their Own In New Photos From Season 1, Episode 11: "3 X 1"
FOX has released twenty-two new promotional stills from The Gifted's January return, which picks up shortly after the shocking and tragic events of the midseason finale. Come take a look!
The Gifted's midseason finale ended in heartbreaking fashion as the Mutant Underground lost one of their leaders when Dr. Campbell (Garret Dillahunt) killed Dreamer (Elena Satine) in cold blood while Blink (Jamie Chung) and the Strucker children (Percy Hynes White & Natalie Alyn Lynd) were left helplessly watching.
The show's off for Christmas, but it will return the following week, on New Year's Day, with an episode that will see the makeshift family of mutants pay tribute to their fallen friend. However, it doesn't look like they'll get much time to mourn as they quickly find themselves right back in the thick of the action. Plus, they'll also have to deal with the recently reunited Stepford Cuckoos (Skyler Samuels), who have a very interesting offer for them.

Action-adventure family drama THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers.
