VisionQuest Reveals Surprising Five-Week Release Schedule As New TV Spot And Promo Materialise

VisionQuest premieres on Disney+ next week, and while we've known since the last trailer that it will be a two-episode premiere, the show's full release schedule has now been revealed.

As noted, the first two instalments will debut on October 14. We'll then get episodes three and four on October 21, the fifth and sixth chapters on October 28, episode seven on November 4, and the finale on November 11.

It's unclear why Marvel Studios has decided against a one-episode-per-week release, but there's likely to be some thought gone into how fans get to experience the long-awaited follow-up to WandaVision and Agatha All Along.

Episode 1 — 53 minutes (October 14)
Episode 2 — 45 minutes (October 14)
Episode 3 — 52 minutes (October 21)
Episode 4 — 48 minutes (October 21)
Episode 5 — 46 minutes (October 28)
Episode 6 — 54 minutes (October 28)
Episode 7 — 1 hour & 2 minutes (November 4)
Episode 8 — 1 hour & 8 minutes (November 11)

Critics are being sent the entire season tomorrow, so spoilers will inevitably surface in some corners of the internet in the coming days. As a reminder, the review embargo lifts on October 12 at 3 pm ET.

A new TV spot for VisionQuest has also been released, featuring a very cool shot of Vision's transformation (including his yellow eyes from the comics). There's also a promo teasing how the show will deal with Vision learning he has two sons, Billy and Tommy, in the real world. We also have a recap video.

In VisionQuest, Vision, rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponise him, has been in hiding. Searching for new meaning, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and the infamous Ultron.

His discreet existence ends when a bounty placed on his head thrusts him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision's son, reincarnated. As Vision evades capture, he must confront his nature, resist Ultron's influence, and unravel the enigma that is his young companion if he’s to survive.

VisionQuest stars Paul Bettany, James Spader, Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, T'Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, with Emily Hampshire and James D'Arcy.

VisionQuest is created for television by Terry Matalas, based on the Marvel Comics. The executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos, Terry Matalas, Jac Schaeffer, and Christopher J. Byrne, and the producer is Roopesh Parekh.

The series premieres on Disney+ on October 14.

Good! I like this a lot better than one ep per week.

Except for dropping on Wednesdays (because that's when we watch AEW Dynamite) I'm all in.

best guess, wrap it up with a full month before Doomsday so they can go full bore on that and not have anything else going on

Cool release schedule , I like it since it gives more bang for one’s buck imo…

Also it’s likely they are going mostly 2 episodes a week so they can then give more space between it and Doomsday aswell as put all of theirs and ours focus on the latter aswell.

Anyway , the show looks good so can’t wait to see it!!.
