WandaVision deserves to win a long list of awards when the time comes, especially as Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany have been delivering some truly phenomenal work. However, the Disney+ series dominating costume, hair, and makeup awards seems like a lock, and Elle have shared some must-see behind-the-scenes photos highlighting those three areas.

The site also has some comments from WandaVision makeup department head Tricia Sawyer, and she reveals the lengths they had to go to in order to make Vision look right in black-and-white. "We shot a lot of camera tests to get the right shade of blue to look right on camera when he was Vision," she explains, while sadly not sharing any shots of that unique colour scheme.

Sawyer also addressed the "Agatha All Along" sequence, but insisted that fans don't need to look back at previous episodes for clues about Agnes' true identity: Agatha Harkness.

"I worked with the DP pretty closely [for] that switch, and we took her a lot more vibrant, a little more pinky," she says of the reveal in The Munsters-inspired sequence. "He was going to change it a bit in post, so I needed to know how he was going to do it to know what colors to use. There weren't any Easter egg-type references [prior to that]."

It's fascinating how color still matters in black and white.

@tylerzero - I thought it was funny someone claimed they caught something by saying color correcting the magic show scene shows Wanda in a blue costume, yet the bts images shows she's wearing a red one.

The costume and set design is so good in this show. Definitely deserves all the recognition it gets and more.

I'd thought a few weeks ago about going back and rewatching WandaVision in a binge format once everything was all done so I could see how the narrative threads were being sewn the whole time.

But then I saw this shot....

...and yea, I think I'll take a break before revising those early episodes. That's gonna be awkwardly painful.

@OmegaDaGrodd - I love how the "traditional Sokovian greeting" bit from the first episode, was actually something that her mother did to her, and may have been a real greeting 😢

@OmegaDaGrodd -
This is an operatic tragedy. I have rewatched most of the episodes and knowing what you find out in episode 8 really does make it funky.

I didn't realize till someone in reddit pointed it out that The Heartvon the Calender from ep 1 was actually the Deed turned into a Calender in ep 8.....God damn the feelz

This was/is something special. I was a heavy sceptic, deciding early on I wouldn't give them a single crumb of credit undeservedly. They brought something to the table that was strange, beautiful, tragic, and more than anything: MARVEL. Well done team. Well done.

I just hope the other shows are not that dosed on their narrative, at times they didn't really knew what to do with the plot inside westview until episode 5 more than which shows they wanted to play homage and just focused more on developing Monica instead.
