Welcome to another roundup of Marvel news! There's a lot out there to cover, but rather than writing up every single piece of fresh intel in separate articles, we've collected it for you in one place.
Today, we have two very interesting rumours to share with you about upcoming Marvel Studios projects
WandaVision and
Eternals. We then move on to an update on the
X-Men movies on Disney+ as well as Kevin Feige's panel at CCXP, which may or may not deliver a
Black Widow trailer!
As if all that's not enough, we also have an intriguing updated on TheDailyBugle.net's website.
There's lots of great content here for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (and beyond), so all you have to do to check it out is click on the "View List" button down below...
Nightmare Rumored To Appear In WandaVision
Take this with a pinch of salt, but
Charles Murphy claims that Nightmare has already been cast and will be the true villain of
WandaVision on Disney+. That does make sense considering the fact that most of the series will reportedly take place in a dreamlike reality akin to a sitcom.
This would also explain why Scarlet Witch appears in
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as that bad guy has been rumoured for that movie for quite some time now.
Needless to say, this definitely falls into the "rumour" category for now, but with Kathryn Hahn cast as a mysterious "nosy neighbour," it's entirely possible that's who she really is.
Scarlett Johansson Has Known About Black Widow's Death For A While
Black Widow's death in
Avengers: Endgame definitely took fans by surprise, but it's something Scarlett Johansson was prepared for as she's known it was coming since before
Avengers: Infinity War!
"Kevin Feige called me, as was kind of normal, just to discuss whatever the script was and what was going on. But I think he called me to tell me that," Johansson told
Vanity Fair during a recent interview.
"I was surprised, but I also kind of wasn't surprised at the same time. I think we all knew there were going to be some big losses."
The character will, of course, return in a solo movie next year set before the events of
Infinity War.
Eternals Vs. Deviants
Another rumour from
Charles Murphy pertains to
Eternals and claims that the movie is going to revolve around the "War of Evolution." He believes that means we're going to see a conflict between the Eternals and the Deviants, something that adds up when Kevin Feige has repeatedly claimed that Jack Kirby's work has heavily inspired this particular Marvel Comics adaptation.
Evolution playing a key role in
Eternals seems like a given, especially as this movie will more than likely set the stage for mutants to be introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe down the line.
TheDailyBugle.net Is Taking A Break
As you can see, the Instagram account for TheDailyBugle.net has confirmed that the site is taking a break over the coming weeks. Chances are, they've run out of B-Roll footage of J.K. Simmons' J. Jonah Jameson but it will be interesting to see whether the account and website are used to promote Sony releases like
Morbius and
Venom 2 or if it's going to remain focused on the MCU.
Kevin Feige Is Coming To CCXP Next Weekend
There have been rumblings about the first trailer for Black Widow coming our way in early December, but with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige set to hold a 45 minute panel at CCXP next weekend, there's a very strong chance that will be when we get our first look at the film.
Either way, it's entirely possible that we'll get some news about the MCU's future at this event.
Dave Bautista's New Superhero Themed Tattoos
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 star Dave Bautista recently broke up with his girlfriend, and while it appears as if he's already dating WWE Superstar Dana Brooke (you can find details on that over at
TheRingReport.com), he's also gotten some awesome, comic book inspired tattoos.
As you can see, the tattoos on his fingers pay homage to superheroes like Batman, Superman and the Avengers. He also got a tattoo resembling the symbol of the rap group Wu-Tang Clan.
More Spider-Man: Far From Home Iron Man Tributes
Spider-Man: Far From Home spent a lot of time dealing with the fallout from Iron Man's death, and Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding has shared more tributes to the fallen Avenger. This one didn't make it into the movie but it makes for a striking piece of imagery.
A Must-Have New Captain America: The First Avenger Statue
Captain America: The First Avenger came out eight years ago and with Marvel Studios still celebrating its ten year anniversary, Iron Studios has now revealed an amazing statue featuring Chris Evans' star spangled Avenger suited up in his original costume. You can click through the post above for the full gallery, but if you're a fan of the hero's origin story, then this will obviously be a must-have!
The X-Men Movies Are Coming To Disney+...In Australia
There are still a long list of countries where Disney+ is not available, but those of you who are subscribed to the service in Australia will be pleased to know that eight of Fox's
X-Men movies will soon be available to watch. Those will include
X-Men,
X2,
X-Men: The Last Stand,
X-Men Origins: Wolverine,
X-Men: First Class,
The Wolverine,
X-Men: Days of Future Past, and
X-Men: Apocalypse.
Dark Phoenix isn't there yet, while
Deadpool,
Deadpool 2, and
Logan have all been omitted (presumably due to their R-Rating, but that's something which could change moving forward).
For now, it doesn't appear as if there are plans to add these to the American version of the service.
Rocket Racoon Joins Dolittle In New Fan-Art
The first batch of character posters for
Dolittle starring Robert Downey Jr. were mocked by a lot of fans, but our friend Boss Logic has now shared a perfect parody featuring Marvel's Rocket Racoon!
Needless to say, this is probably the team-up most fans would have preferred to see here...
