WANDAVISION Named Best-Reviewed TV Series And Limited Series In Rotten Tomatoes' Golden Tomato Awards

WandaVision earned widespread acclaim from critics last year, and it's now received a couple of noteworthy awards in Rotten Tomatoes' Golden Tomato Awards. There was also good news for Amazon's Invincible.

Thanks to the pandemic, WandaVision ended up being Marvel Studios' first Disney+ TV series and it remains the most critically acclaimed. The show has received nominations at major award ceremonies like the Emmys, Golden Globes, and Grammys (even winning some prizes), and Rotten Tomatoes has now named it the "Best Reviewed TV Series" of 2021 in its Golden Tomato Awards.

WandaVision managed to beat shows like Mare of Easttown, Loki, Ted Lasso, and Succession for that award, while it was also presented with the "Best Reviewed Limited Series" gong.

In that category, the Marvel Studios TV series ended up beating The Underground Railway, Hawkeye, It's a Sin, Maid, What If...?, and several other noteworthy shows. It's quite an achievement, especially as COVID-19 ended up halting production (which definitely had an impact on the finale).

Meanwhile, Invincible was named "Best-Reviewed Animated TV Series," a sentiment we're sure many of you will agree with after that stellar first season of the Amazon TV show.

These awards are obviously based on reviews submitted to Rotten Tomatoes by critics, and they provide an interesting insight into what the majority of them enjoyed most in 2021. You can take a look back through our reviews on the aggregator by checking out ComicBookMovie.com's profile here
