WANDAVISION Set Photos Offer A New Look At Monica Rambeau In Her S.W.O.R.D. Gear And Agent Jimmy Woo

Some newly revealed WandaVision set photos feature Monica Rambeau in her S.W.O.R.D. gear as she meets with Ant-Man and The Wasp breakout character Agent Jimmy Woo. See them both in action after the jump...

Shooting continues on WandaVision, and we now have a new look at Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau decked out in what appears to be her S.W.O.R.D. uniform. The clandestine organisation will seemingly be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's replacement for S.H.I.E.L.D., and has more than likely been formed to help protect Earth from future cosmic threats.

Monica can be seen meeting with Ant-Man and The Wasp's Jimmy Woo (Randall Park), who is presumably still working with the FBI. Why they're teaming up is hard to say, but chances are they're both investigating what's going on with the Scarlet Witch following the events of Avengers: Endgame

If Wanda is using her reality-altering powers to change the world around her, it makes sense for S.W.O.R.D. and the FBI to come together to try and stop her from becoming the next Thanos!

We'll have to wait and see, but a first look at the series can't be too far away, especially now that Marvel Studios has confirmed that WandaVision is coming to Disney+ later this year rather than 2021.

S.W.O.R.D.'s Director is Abigail Brand but there's been no mention of the character being cast in WandaVision, so Marvel Studios could be holding off on introducing her for now.

Common sense says that the adult Monica Rambeau could be working for S.W.O.R.D. here, particularly if it means that she's able to find her mother's best friend and "aunt" Carol Danvers.

This looks like a base camp of some sort, but we don't know whether this is meant to be the organisation's actual base of somewhere Marvel is storing the show's vehicles as shooting continues!

That's an imposing looking structure, and it's hard not to wonder whether it's some sort of containment chamber. Many fans are convinced that this could be used to hold the Scarlet Witch!

Time will tell on that front, but it looks like S.W.O.R.D. is bringing an entire army to wherever WandaVision is set and they clearly believe that there's a threat big enough to warrant that.

S.H.I.E.L.D. has been missed since it fell back in 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier...could it be that the TV series ABC wants from Marvel is Agents of S.W.O.R.D.? That would be pretty cool!

What do you guys think of these latest WandaVision set photos? Is it possible that containment chamber - if that's what it is - will be used to capture the Scarlet Witch during the series?

"AM&tW breakout character Agent Jimmy Woo".

Breakout ????? He was at times cringe-worthy. Some of his lines and deliveries hit new MCU lows. It wasn't all bad but enough was that I can't believe anyone has the chutzpah to use the work breakout in a sentence with that character's name in it.

Here's the thing; when you do subtle humor that fails to land it'a no biggie. The show movies on without missing a beat. Otoh when you go over the top and flop you leave giant, brown, skidmarks. Jimmy Woo was over the top way too much.

I wonder how Monica gets her powers. Will it be as a result of Wanda's reality warping? Because, if so, that would mean that whatever she creates and whoever she decides to bring back could be permanent

@Typobutcorrect - She's really good playing the "straight-edge character" against a bunch of "rich troublemakers" in Survivor's Remorse on Starz:
