What If...?'s second episode just dropped on Disney+, and it asks the question, "What if...T'Challa Became a Star-Lord?" It's a fun adventure, and one that definitely delivers a lot of surprises.
Marvel Studios once again manages to enlist a lot of familiar voices from the MCU, with only a few actors from the live-action movies unable (or unwilling) to reprise their respective roles. Obviously, the late Chadwick Boseman lends his voice to T'Challa/Star-Lord, but who joined him for this episode?
Well, we have Karen Gillan (Nebula), Michael Rooker (Yondu), Djimon Hounsou (Korath), John Kani (T'Chaka), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Benicio Del Toro (The Collector), Kurt Russell (Ego), Sean Gunn (Kraglin), Chris Sullivan (Taserface), Seth Green (Howard the Duck), Dania Gurira (Okoye), Ophelia Lovibond (Carina), Carrie Coon (Proxima Midnight), and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (Ebony Maw).
As for the new additions to the MCU, well-known voice actor Fred Tatasciore (Batman: The Long Halloween) takes on the roles of Drax and Corvus Glaive in place of Dave Bautista and David Kaye. Brian T. Delaney (Injustice), meanwhile, subs in for Chris Pratt's Star-Lord, while Maddix Robinson is a young T'Challa.
That means only a couple of MCU actors weren't part of this episode of What If...?, and seeing as those characters only had minor roles, it's really not the end of the world.
What did you guys think of the performances in the latest instalment of the animated series?
