What If...? arrives on Disney+ on August 11, but a few lucky critics were given the opportunity to watch the first three episodes three last week. Now, the embargo on social media reactions has lifted, and it sounds like Marvel Studios has done it again (just in an animated setting this time).

As you can see, the way the show explores the concept of the Multiverse definitely works and results in a lot of unexpected twists and turns that turn the MCU as we know it on its head.

Unsurprisingly, Captain Carter - who has been a focal point of the marketing campaign since day one - has really struck a chord with viewers, as has T'Challa/Star-Lord. As we were among those to get this early sneak peek, we can assure you that Chadwick Boseman's performance (possibly his last as the character unless he recorded more dialogue for this series) is breathtaking.

His work will remind you just how special he was as a talent and it's hard to not get emotional.

Check out these reactions to the first three episodes of What If...? below and check back here on August 10 for our spoiler-free review of the Disney+ series!
