It's rare nowadays that we get two A-list actors at the peak of their powers squaring off on screen, but that's exactly what The Russo Brothers (Avengers: Infinity War; Avengers: Endgame) have cooked up for us. The Gray Man will feature the showdown of the summer as Ryan Gosling (Blade Runner 2049; Drive) faces off against Chris Evans (Captain America; Avengers: Endgame).
The streamer has now released a clip from the highly anticipated action-thriller, giving us just a small taste of what to expect as we see Lloyd Hansen (Evans) track down Sierra Six (Gosling) before things get explosive.
The film's story, which is an adaptation of Mark Greaney's 2009 novel of the same name, follows Court Gentry, a.k.a. Sierra Six (Gosling), a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death, who suddenly finds himself hunted across the globe by former co-worker Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), who will stop at nothing to take him out.
In addition to Gosling and Evans, the supporting cast features Golden Globe-nominee Ana de Armas (Knives Out; No Time to Die), Jessica Henwick (The Matrix Resurrections; Iron Fist), Wagner Moura (Narcos; Sergio), Julia Butters (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood; American Housewife), South Indian superstar Dhanush (Raanjhanaa; Vada Chennai), Regé-Jean Page (Bridgerton; Dungeons & Dragons), Academy Award-nominee Alfre Woodard (Luke Cage; Captain America: Civil War), and Academy Award-winner Billy Bob Thornton (Monster's Ball; Fargo).
The Gray Man hits theaters on July 15, and will start streaming exclusively on Netflix on July 22.
