Netflix recently debuted a new trailer for the upcoming second season of Stranger Things, and now we have a sneak peek featuring fan-favourite telekinetic Eleven finding a way to escape from The Upside Down.

In the season one finale, Eleven managed to destroy the Demogorgan, but was seemingly killed herself in the process. Although the character was almost immediately confirmed to have survived the encounter (Sheriff Hopper wasn't leaving those Eggos for the raccoons, after all), her young friends have no idea and will obviously be very surprised to see her.

We still don't know what part Eleven will play in the unfolding drama, but we can definitely expect her powers to be put to the test against the encroaching threat of the immense "shadow monster."

“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”

Stranger Things 2 will be available to stream on Netflix from October 27.

@rsahadi - Yeah, the effects definitely improved. Netflix probably gave them a way bigger budget, lol.
