It's thought that The Witcher has now finished shooting its second season in the UK, and that means we can probably expect to see the series back on Netflix by the end of the year. Now, one final batch of set photos feature a major reveal about what's to come in the live-action adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski's novels.
As you can see by following the link in the Tweet below, the Wild Hunt is coming to The Witcher!
The lead villains in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt video game, they're led by Eredin Bréacc Glas, commonly known as the King of the Wild Hunt. Believed to be wraiths due to their mystical powers and appearance, their true purpose is to find and capture slaves from other worlds. Eventually, they set their sights on Ciri for her Elder Blood, and it seems the series will now follow a similar direction.
It makes sense to introduce a big bad in The Witcher, especially with the series moving on from jumping between timelines to focus on Geralt of Rivia's quest to keep Ciri safe.
Have a look at the photos below, and keep checking back here for updates on season two.
