Henry Cavill has confirmed reports that he was injured on the set of Netflix's The Witcher.
Late last year, it was revealed that shooting on the second season of the fantasy series would continue without Cavill after he suffered an undisclosed injury while playing the heroic Geralt of Rivia. Confirming that it was "minor," the Justice League star took to Instagram earlier today to share an update on how his recovery is progressing.
"We are in lockdown here the UK so I’m using my once a day outdoor exercise to go for my first jog since my hamstring injury! (More on that another time)," the actor says in the Instagram post below.
"It wasn’t fast, and it certainly was far, but it has been a major step in my recovery, and my first step to getting back into the groove after a Christmas that may have involved more than a few cups of mulled wine, and an exceptionally fat Turkey," Cavill concluded.
Not much has been revealed about plans for The Witcher season two, though set photos have teased at least one long overdue meeting between Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri.
