AHSOKA Easter Eggs Reveals Surprising Dark Side Moment As Hi-Res Photos Of The Biggest Cameos Blast Online

Eagle-eyed fans have noticed what appeared to be a shocking moment of temptation for the title character in the latest episode of Ahsoka, while some hi-res screenshots offer a closer look at those cameos!

This week's episode of Ahsoka delivered more than its fair share of surprises, and while our visit to the World Between Worlds wasn't quite the trip through the Star Wars Multiverse some rumoured promised, it most definitely didn't disappoint.

As you might expect, fans have already started combing through "Shadow Warrior" to pick out Easter Eggs and possible hints about where the series is heading next, but there's one noteworthy detail we're guessing some of you will have missed during a first viewing.

When Ahsoka Tano is battling Darth Vader - you can learn more about what happened during their duel here - she manages to disarm her former Master and uses his red lightsaber. However, a closer look at Ahsoka's eyes seems to suggest she's tempted to turn to the Dark Side during this moment as they've become corrupted, just like Anakin Skywalker's.

At this moment, Ahsoka seemingly battles with the decision of whether to strike down her Master and embrace the darkness which has clearly plagued her for several years. However, Anakin's final lesson to his Padawan is that while he taught her to fight, she must be more than a warrior to truly live.

Ahsoka accepts that and, when she returns to the living world, she wears white, a suggestion the hero is starting over with a clean slate and is now more akin to the Ahsoka of old.

We may not get to see key moments from the Star Wars franchise reimagined, but this episode revisits Battle of Ryloth. There, we see a young Ahsoka (Ariana Greenblatt) - wearing her retconned Tales of the Jedi attire - and Anakin in his Clone Wars armour.

Later, we head to the Siege of Mandalore, the main conflict from The Clone Wars season 7. Now decked out in that costume, Ahsoka has a brief exchange with Captain Rex (Temuera Morrison) and battles Maul's Mandalorian super commandos.

How crazy is it that Ahsoka was this young when she bested Maul in combat?

And yes, for those of you wondering, Darth Vader - suit and all - does indeed appear in the episode. Just don't take your eyes off the screen!

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.

The first five episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.

It's sad af how everthing will eventually go in the grand scheme of things thanks to the sequel trilogy, cause what Filoni is doing is capturing that magic that made us all fall in love with SW.

And yeah, i don't give a f*ck if he's friends with Ruin Johnson, that doesn't matter.

It would be great if somehow traveling to that alternate galaxy and the World Between Worlds somehow alters the future so that all of the events in the sequel trilogy doesn't take place in regular canon but in the alternate universe canon. Different timelines like Star Trek.

That way Mark Hamil's characterization of Luke "Jake Skywalker" would make sense because it would be reconned. Sure that will make fans of the sequel trilogy angry...

But I don't care.

@DarthOmega - you know everyone has been shitting on the ideas of multiverse in DC and MCU and yet here we have someone proposing it again and others praising the idea... which leads me to believe, multiverse, if done right, can succeed in any franchise.

@JonC - If it means fixing a timeline that has been basically damaged beyond repair, then I welcome it.

Awesome episode and best of the series so far. Fans have been waiting to see live action clone wars for years and they finally did it! Put Ewan mcgregor in there next time and it’ll be perfect!

The only thing I would’ve changed is having 2 actors for young Ashoka. By the time of the siege of Mandalore, she’s older and I really struggle to believe she could beat Ray Park Maul in a 1v1 here because she looks and sounds like 12 years old

Dave Filoni cares and it shows. It's not a requirement to be a fan of a property before adapting it. If you are a competent filmmaker and storyteller, it should work. But a deep understanding of the universe and it's inner workings is something that can elevate a story from mediocre to something great. Especially for something as beloved and long lasting as Star Wars.

This show and what Filoni is doing is PEAK Star Wars This show:

Man i wish he was in charge of SW alot earlier. What him and Jon are doing in this "Mando/Rebels/Ashoka" universe is pure SW porn and i am a happy man

@MotherGooseUPus - Agree, and even though Im getting tired of all the multiverse/alternate time line etc. if there is one time I wish they could do it, it is now in Star Wars - make an even that split time, have the sequels be an alternate time, and start a new canon from where we are now. Disney should "Let the past die. Kill it, if you have to. That’s the only way to become what you were meant to be"
