Star Wars Celebration kicked off its fourth and final day in London today with a special treat for animation fans all over the world: an action-packed trailer for Star Wars: Visions Volume 2! The trailer brings together nine global studios for another stunning anthology ahead of its premiere on Disney+ on May 4th.

  • "Screecher's Reach" by Paul Young at Cartoon Saloon (Ireland, Wolfwalkers)
  • "In the Stars" by Gabriel Osorio at PunkRobot Studio (Chile, Bear Story)
  • "Journey to the Dark Head" by Hyeong Geun Park at Studio Mir (South Korea, The Legend of Korra)
  • "I Am Your Mother" by Magdalena Osinska at Aardman Animations (United Kingdom, Wallace and Gromit)
  • "Aau's Song" by Nadia Darries and Daniel Clarke at Triggerfish Animation Studios (South Africa, Revolting Rhymes)
  • "The Pit" by LeAndre Thomas at D'ART Shtajio (Japan, Snowchild music video) and Lucasfilm Ltd. (United States)
  • "The Spy Dancer" by Julien Chheng at Studio La Cachette (France, "Sucker of Souls" in Love, Death and Robots)
  • "The Bandits of Golak" by Ishan Shukla at 88 Pictures (India)
  • "Sith" by Rodrigo Blaas at El Guiri Studios (Spain)

On September 22, 2021, the first volume of Star Wars: Visions deubted. This book featured shorts produced by Japanese animation studios Kamikaze Doga, Studio Colorido, Trigger, Kinema Citrus, Production I.G., Scientific SARU, and Geno Studio. All may be viewed right now through the Disney+ streaming service alone.

Looking forward to Aardman's short the most. Always loved their work.

Also, please, have stories without a single jedi/sith character this time. I enjoyed all the previous batch of shorts fine enough, but stuff like the light-hearted band story don't need a token scene of someone using a lightsaber to keep our interest.

First season was good. Some episodes were amazing. Since the mainline continuity is in a state of disarray, I'll take more SW content like this.

I really enjoy this series and how it allows the animators to experiment with styles and stories without being constraints to any kind of Canon.
