During the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase panel on Friday, we finally got a first look at upcoming Star Wars Disney+ TV shows, The Acolyte and Skeleton Crew

Trailers for both of those were shared exclusively with fans in attendance, though we don't anticipate either being released online for a while yet. However, we can share some brand new behind-the-scenes stills from both shows that were put on display (much to the delight of cast members) during the panel.

Celebration; Major New Story Details Revealed

In The Acolyte's case, the focus is primarily on showrunner Leslye Headland and star Amandla Stenberg.

That series will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes but discovers the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.

Skeleton Crew's stills are a little more revealing as we see Jude Law's mysterious character alongside the project's young cast, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong.

Set in the same timeframe as The Mandalorian, Skeleton Crew follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home—and meeting unlikely allies and enemies—will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.

Both of these look terrific and we hope to have more to share with you soon.

The plot is literally Star trek Voyager (but hopefully better lol). They even got a female Geordie LaForge.
