A leaked version of this did the rounds online earlier today, but Lucasfilm has now officially released the brand new trailer for upcoming The Clone Wars spinoff, The Bad Batch.

This new animated adventure follows the ragtag team of "experimental" clones first introduced in the final season of The Clone Wars, as they make their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War.

The teaser features a few surprises, including the return of Grand Moff Tarkin, fan-favorite clone Captain Rex, and our first look at a couple of mysterious new characters. We also see The Mandalorian's Fennec Shand make her animated debut, and what appears to be a younger take on Saw Gerrera.

Check out the trailer below along with an awesome new poster, and let us know what you think.

Dave Filoni, Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, and Jennifer Corbett are executive producing the show, with Corbett also serving writer. The Bad Batch is set to premiere on Disney+ on May 4, with new episodes dropping every Friday.
