Dan Harmon Says He's Now Working On Rick And Morty Season 7
Rick and Morty fans have been waiting for an update on season 5 of the hit Adult Swim animated series, and it sounds like things are well in hand, because the creative team is already working on season 7!
The hilarious sci-fi comedy was commissioned for a lot of new episodes last year so it was never in any danger of being cancelled, but Dan Harmon has reassured anyone that might be worried about the future of the show that things are moving along nicely.
"I think we're working on Season 7 right now... I can't even keep track. I wouldn't know if I were spoiling Season 5 or Season 6," said Harmon during yesterday's Adult Swim Celebration panel.

New Red Notice Still
Netflix's upcoming action flick
Red Notice was forced to halt filming due to the pandemic, but shooting resumed last month, and the movie recently wrapped production.
Now, star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has shared a new look at his character keeping a watchful eye on a very expensive egg.
Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence), Red Notice focuses on the "world's greatest INTERPOL agent" (Johnson) being assigned to track down the "world's greatest art thief" (Gal Gadot), while the "world's greatest con man" (Ryan Reynolds) gets in his way.
Short Circuit Reboot In The Works
Spyglass Media is working on a reboot of 1986's Short Circuit, having enlisted the writing team of Eduardo Cisneros and Jason Shuman to pen the script.
The movie will reportedly "put a Latinx twist on" the story of a military robot named Johnny 5 who becomes sentient after being struck by lightning.
The original starred Ally Sheedy, Steve Guttenberg and Fisher Stevens. It wasn't very well received by critics, but it was well loved by '80s kids.
Project X Entertainment’s James Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein and William Sherak will produce with Rehab Entertainment’s John W. Hyde on board as executive producer.

Katee Sackhoff Reacts To Her Debut As Bo-Katan on The Mandalorian
Battlestar Galactica alum Katee Sackhoff made her debut as a live-action incarnation of Bo-Katan in this past Friday's episode of The Mandalorian, and the actress took to Twitter to share her excitement at getting to step into the shoes of a character she voiced in The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.
Katan name-dropped Ahsoka Tano at the end of "The Heiress," and fans are now looking forward to seeing Sackhoff and Rosario Dawson share the screen. That may not happen this season, but you have to believe its on the cards.
