We're just mere hours away from a new trailer for The Mandalorian season 3 being released, and Disney and Lucasfilm have now released an action-packed poster for the beloved Star Wars TV show (via SFFGazette.com).

What does it tell us about the series ahead of its highly anticipated return? Not a lot! Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu are shown blasting back into action together following their reunion in The Book of Boba Fett, but we can't tell where they are or who it is they're facing off against.

As for Din's armour, it hasn't really gone through any changes that we can notice. His cape certainly looks a little worse for wear as the duo escape from this fiery predicament, but the Beskar armour remains largely the same (the piece on his thigh is really the only thing that's changed across the course of The Mandalorian's first two seasons).

One thing we don't see here is the Darksaber, though that may be down to the positioning of Mando rather than any sort of subtle clue about what's to come in season 3!

Regardless, we'll have the new trailer for you the second it drops - as you can see below, the game starts at 8.15pm ET - though a sneak peek can be found right here.

"The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue," reads the synopsis. "Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history."

"The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together."

The Mandalorian returns to Disney+ for its third season on March 1.

Grogu should've been left out of this season.

So they got me emotional for no reason with that season finale. Pssh. Whatever.

This show is in desperate need of a time jump. Seeing a "baby" Grogu for as long as we have is starting to get boring and repetitive. Even Groot had to grow up eventually. We all know that Grogu is "The Mandalorian" by creed and also a Jedi, so let's just get to the meat and potatoes already.

They jumped the shark last season, good luck.

This and Andor are really the only SW projects keeping me invested in the franchise nowadays.

@ModHaterSLADE - Tales of the Jedi was pretty good as well, mostly the ones about Dooku. The Ahsoka ones were just ok.

@tb86 - Yeah, the Dooku ones were solid.

Pedro Pascal going on an adventure with a kid where he gets to kill lots of people is gonna be my favorite genre this year.

Has anyone stopped to think how f**king tired his arm must get carrying Go-Gurt around all the time? I mean it seems like every time we see him he's carrying that thing. I was at Walmart in the toy section earlier today (absolutely looking for my kids and not myself and DEFINITELY in the action figure aisle. And what if I was? Maybe my little girls like Transformers and Star Wars figures. Don't judge me!) and I swear that the majority of the Mardalorian's figure and tie-in merch have him carrying that hairless Mogwai around with him, so he arm HAS to get tired by some point. Or maybe it just falls asleep and he can't feel it anymore.

Either way, you'd think that he'd just get a big purse and carry Godzuki around in it like those LA chicks carry around their Chihuahuas. I'm pretty sure that they've got to have a premium outlet mall in that side of the galaxy somewhere (got knows they're in every major city on our planet). C'mon, dude, just swing into a Coach or Michael Kors or something and pick out something to goes with you outfit (I'm thinking a nice coral or turquoise to add some flare) or if nothing else, Burbury, because everything goes with plaid. Give your poor arm a rest. It's earned it.

I feel like Grogu's story is over. I just hope he's not gonna just be there to be cute.
