THE MANDALORIAN Season 2 Fan Art Shows What Rosario Dawson Could Look LIke As Ahsoka Tano

The Mandalorian wasted no time in showcasing the use of the Force thanks to the adordable Child guarded by the fearsome bounty hunter, but a bonafide Jedi Knight is coming in season 2.

We are, of course, talking about The Clone Wars breakout Ahsoka Tano, a hero we recently learned will be played by The Defenders star Rosario Dawson. The beautiful actress is going to bring the animated character to life in a live-action setting for the first time ever, and some fan art from Boss Logic and Isatonic reveals how she could end up looking in the role.

Like any fan art, it's a little bit rough around the edges, but it's still very impressive and provides at least a rough idea of what the beloved, badass Jedi will probably look like on Disney+!

The last time we saw Ashoka, she was searching for the missing Ezra Bridger, and you have to wonder whether she will be joined in The Mandalorian season 2 by the equally fearsome Sabine Wren.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

"but a bonafide Jedi Knight is coming in season 2." Excuse me.

Also, I don't think "fearsome" means what you think it means.
"guarded by the fearsome bounty hunter"
"by the equally fearsome Sabine Wren."

@Nebula - what are you talking about? She's very fearsome. Anyone who gets their combat armor from forever 21 is absolutely terrifying.

@Origame - Yeah images of Sabine initially put me off watching Rebels. The armour suggested to me the show was aimed at young children. Still think it looks kinda daft.

Even the fact that she would fricken graffiti Imperial ships as a form of "rebellion".

Having said that, there's some great stuff in Rebels and I'd still recommend it to any SW fan

Unrelated, and we should never believe ANY government, especially the Chinese government, but here it is: https://variety.com/2020/film/asia/cinemas-china-reopen-coronavirus-recedes-1203542000/

Love that she is Ashoka. Such a great character in star wars played by a wonderful actress. I still think that Ashley EckStein could have played her, but I wont complain about Dawson at all.

@RancidBane - It really is crazy how beloved Ahsoka is (and rightly so). She's got to be one of the most popular Star Wars characters ever — and that's impressive since she hasn't ever even set foot in the main saga.

@Nebula - she is a well written character and her development was gradual and consistent. What's really funny is she was pretty much universally hated when she debuted in the clone wars animated movie.

@RancidBane - Of course she was. Because Star Wars fans are fickle.

I don't know yet as I'm still not really sold. Part of me doesn't even want to see Ahsoka in live-action, but I guess it is inevitable. I do want to see Sabine though (as it is much easier to pull off if she keeps her helmet on)

I wanted to see Jedi Tano in the movies, because that would be a good link to the earlier time period. I hope the TV version does her justice.

I just like how Dawson is a LEGIT comic book fan. Probably knows more about em than half of us here, lol.
