THE MANDALORIAN Season 2 Finale Promo Reflects On The Epic Journey That Brought Us To "Chapter 16"

The Mandalorian comes to an end on Friday with the season two finale, and we'll then be waiting around a year to return to this corner of the Galaxy Far, Far Away. The stage is clearly being set for a battle between Din Djarin and Moff Gideon, but will the heroic bounty hunter be able to save Grogu?

That's one of many questions we have heading into "Chapter 16," while it's also possible we'll learn more about whether Gideon's plans tie into resurrecting Emperor Palpatine through cloning (the deformed clones in "The Siege" looked a lot like Supreme Leader Snoke).

We'll also have to wait and see whether the mysterious Jedi Grogu seemingly reached through the Force makes an appearance!

It's going to be tough without the Disney+ series to look forward to heading into the New Year, but as this promo reminds us, we have plenty of epic moments to relive (including Ahsoka Tano's live-action debut). Season two of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian has now also been confirmed to premiere on the streaming service on Christmas Day, so there's that to get excited about.

Take a look at this promo for The Mandalorian's season two below:

Gonna try to avoid any spoilers on the season finale so any surprise appearances (if any) don't get spoiled.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who finds this show extremely overrated.

We're at the end of season 2 and nothing really happened.

It's a cool episodic show that looks very pretty but that's it.

@calino2212 - "hi, I'm mister Buzzkill McDowner, I'm here to provide an opinion nobody asked for".
nothing happened except for, you know, all the stuff that ALREADY happened.

I think they need to up the episode count to 10 next season. With the caliber of this show with not only the writing but overall presentation, 8 episodes just seems a bit too light. No more than 10 though. I believe that would be just about right.
