THE MANDALORIAN Season 2 Release Schedule Reveals When Each Episode Will Premiere On Disney+

The first two episodes of The Mandalorian premiered on Disney+ in the same week, but what about season two? Well, the release schedule for chapters nine to sixteen has now been revealed by Lucasfilm...

We're just over a couple of weeks away from The Mandalorian's return to Disney+, with the premiere set to arrive on October 30th. With any luck, we'll get a new trailer at some point in the coming days, and that will hopefully give us a first look at characters like Boba Fett and Ahsoka Tano.

In the meantime, the release schedule for The Mandalorian's second season has been revealed and, as expected, we'll be getting one episode a week between October 30th and December 18th.

Last year, Disney+ launched on a Tuesday with the first episode of the Star Wars TV show, with the second following during the same week on the Friday (each subsequent instalment then debuted weekly on that day). There will be double bills for The Mandalorian's second season, however, as each new chapter is coming our way every Friday following that October 30th premiere.

Check out the full release schedule for The Mandalorian below:

Chapter 9 - October 30th, 2020
Chapter 10 - November 6th, 2020
Chapter 11 - November 13th, 2020
Chapter 12 - November 20th, 2020
Chapter 13 - November 27th, 2020
Chapter 14 - December 4th, 2020
Chapter 15 - December 11th, 2020
Chapter 16 - December 18th, 2020

@L0RDbuckethead - Right around the time when people are deciding whether or not to cancel a streaming service or gym membership. Mickey Mouse always gives you a reason not to.

Awesome. If we get Wandavision in November I'm really interested in seeing what day they slot it for. There's no reason D+ can't have multiple originals running in parallel.

@OmegaDaGrodd - In november they'll also have The Right Stuff coming to an end, so I don't expect WandaVision to premiere until after that has finished.

And hopefully WandaVision premieres the week after, so people keep their subscription for January. Oh Disney +.......

@Nemesis17then - Since this is Disney related WTF. Are they going to turn him into a villain maybe by the end of Spider-man 3?

@Nemesis17then - Or maybe Batalon just realized he just wanted to be healthier?

What about the news that Pedro Pascal quit the show? Is that true?

@jj2112 - No guarantee here, but I think that "news" was more of a "wild rumor".

@jj2112 - If there was a conflict between Pascal and Lucasfilm, I think they'd work out a deal where he only has to come in for VA

Guess I'll have to stay away from anything Star Wars related until the 18th of december (as I expected) so that I can watch it all in one sit. Luckily I can always watch The Right Stuff in the meantime

Oh no, weekly episodes! Time for all those crybabies who review-bombed The Boys S2 to come out from under their rocks.

The Boys ends last week. Lovecraft Country will end this week. And then we get just a week to recover before The Mandalorian begins. 2020 does have a silver lining.

Just like last year then, weekly released without interruptions. Nice.
