THE MANDALORIAN Season 2 Trailer Contains Plenty Of New Footage, But No Sign Of Ahsoka Or Fett

A second trailer for The Mandalorian is now online, and while it does feature plenty of exciting new footage, fans are bound to be disappointed that we don't get a first look at any of the new characters.

As promised, a brand new look at The Mandalorian debuted tonight during MNF, but it's probably going to leave a lot of Star Wars fans disappointed.

The 60-second teaser is comprised almost entirely of new footage, as we see bounty hunter Din Djarin pay a visit to old allies Cara Dune and Greef Carga to ask them to accompany him on his mission to return The Child, aka Baby Yoda, to his people.

There's some exciting shots of the Razorcrest crew - which seems to include Season 1's hapless Mythrol (Horatio Sanz) - blasting into battle, but still no sign of Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, or any of the other new characters that are expected to debut this season.

While we may still get another trailer before October 30, Lucasfilm appears to be keeping these big reveals under wraps until the show premieres on Disney+. This is understandable, of course, but even a couple of brief teases would build a lot of extra hype for the return of the first ever live-action Star Wars series.

What did you guys make of this "special look" at The Mandalorian Season 2? Let us know in the comments.
